Here are the Terms and Conditions of entry for the Father's Day Competition 2024.
These terms and conditions (Terms and Conditions) constitute your agreement with Widgeree Operating Trust trading as Buy From The Bush ABN 61685677546 (Promoter) in relation to the Father's Day Competition 2024 (Competition). You understand that you are providing your information to the Promoter. The Father's Day Competition 2024 is a game of chance with a prize valued at less than $3,000 and as such is not required to carry a permit in Australia.
By participating in the Promotion you will be deemed to have: (a) accepted these terms and conditions; and (b) expressly consented to our use of your personal information under the Privacy Act, Spam Act and other related communication and legislation for marketing and other Buy From The Bush business purposes. Please note: Competition entry details will be shared with our competition partner, Wallaringa Farm.
1. COMPETITION PERIOD
The Competition will commence on 16th August 2024 and will conclude on 30th August 2024 (“Competition Period”)
The window for entry into the Competition commences at 12 noon AEST on 16th August 2024 and will close on 30th August 2024 at 12noon AEST.
One winner will be drawn at random.
One winner will be notified privately by 31st August 2024 by email and direct message from the Stay In The Bush Instagram account. Upon acceptance by reply email, or direct message via Instagram the winner will be announced publicly. The winning entry is entitled to one prize only (see Prize details below).
2. ELIGIBILITY
b. Entrants: To enter this Competition, an entrant must complete the online subscription form in the Competition Period. They must be a subscriber to Stay In The Bush newsletters. The entrant must also follow @stayinthebush on Instagram and @wallaringa.farm on Instagram. And tag a friend. Additional entries are made by tagging a friend as a separate comment.
c. Individuals who are not eligible include:
anyone connected in a professional capacity with the Competition and that person’s immediate family members
employees and contractors of the Promoter, or their affiliates (affiliates excludes businesses selling via the Buy From The Bush website or hosts listed on Stay In The Bush).
entrants who have not followed @stayinthebush and @wallaringa.farm on Instagram.
3. JUDGING CRITERIA
There will be one (1) winner only awarded the Competition prize.
The winner will be drawn at random (Refer to 5. DRAW and PRIZES below).
4. HOW TO ENTER
Entries open at 12 noon AEST on Friday 16th August 2024 and will close on Friday 30th August 2024 at 12noon AEST.
To enter this Competition, an entrant must have submitted an eligible entry via the online form, and must be a current subscriber to Stay In The Bush. They must also follow @stayinthebush and @wallaringa.farm on Instagram. And tag a friend. Additional entries are made by tagging a friend as a separate comment. (Eligible Entry)
There will be one (1) winner awarded the Competition prize.
An Eligible Entry is eligible to win a maximum of one (1) Prize per competition draw.
This is a game of chance and skill plays no part. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into with entrants.
The entrant must ensure that a valid email address, has been provided to Buy From The Bush/Stay In The Bush in order to receive their prize if they are drawn as the winner.
All entries become the property of the Promoter.
5. DRAW AND PRIZES.
The draw will take place at the premises of the Promoter being 3505 Bundemar Road, Gin Gin, 2823 between 12noon and 5pm (AEST) on Friday 30th August 2024.
First Prize Winner will be notified by 31st August 2024 privately by email, and direct message via the Stay In The Bush Instagram and the Winner's name will be published on www.stayinthebush.com.au.
There is one (1) prize to be given away in total.
Prizes are defined as:
First Prize
From the total number of entries received, the one randomly drawn Eligible Entrant (Winner) will receive a 2 night stay at Wallaringa Farm (sleeps 6). Refer to Wallaringa Farm for more details.
The Prize includes 2 nights accommodation at Wallaringa Farm for the winner and up to 5 family/friends.
The Prize is not exchangeable, transferrable or redeemable for cash.
The Prize is able to be redeemed for travel dates that are subject to availability and supplier terms and conditions.
The Prize is able to be redeemed for travel dates that are not during school holidays or peak periods.
The Winner must adhere to Wallaringa Farm booking terms and conditions.
All travel associated with this Promotion is subject to supplier terms and conditions. Refer to supplier terms and conditions at Wallaringa Farm website.
Condition on Prize Winnings
All Prizes are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. The decision of the Judge is final and binding. If any Prize or any element of a Prize becomes unavailable or is otherwise unable to be provided, the Promoter may substitute a Prize or element of a Prize of equal or greater value, subject to any written directions from the relevant authorities. Winners will not be entitled to any additional compensation in the event that the Prize or element of a Prize has been substituted at equal or greater value.
The Winner's 2 night stay must be redeemed by 31st April 2025.
First Prize will be notified on or by 31st August 2024, via email and direct message from the Stay In The Bush Instagram account. Winners must accept the Prize by reply email and/or direct message to the Stay In The Bush Instagram account. The Winner's name will be published on www.stayinthebush.com.au. Only the Winner will receive written notification via email or a direct message via Stay In The Bush Instagram account. If the Winner cannot be reached within 1 week at the email address or Instagram tag provided on their Eligible Entry, the Winner will be disqualified and the Prize made eligible for redraw under clause 5.a.
By accepting a Prize, Entrants consent to the use of their name, state of residence, likeness or Prize information for promotional and other reasonable purposes without further payment, except where prohibited by law. The winner may be required to participate in Buy From The Bush's/Stay In The Bush's reasonable marketing and promotional activities.
This process is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Non winners will not be notified.
Winners are responsible for all taxes, expenses, insurance premiums, and any ancillary cost that may be payable as a consequence of receiving a Prize or an Awarded Product.
If for any reason a Winner does not take the Prize (or an element of a prize) by the time stipulated by the Promoter, or chooses not to participate in the Promotion or claim the Prize, then the Prize (or element thereof), will be forfeited.
5.a. The draw for any unclaimed of forfeited Prize will take place at the premises of the Promoter being 3505 Bundemar Road, Gin Gin NSW 2823, between 9:00am and 5.00pm (AEST) on Friday 6th September 2024, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority, and a subsequent winner will receive an email by Friday 6th September 2024 and have their name published on www.stayinthebush.com.au
6. PROMOTER’S LIABILITY
The Promoter is only liable for damages suffered as a result of willful misconduct or gross negligence by the Promoter. In case of minor negligence, the Promoter is only liable for
a. injury to life, body, or health; or b. foreseeable typically occurring damages resulting from the breach of a fundamental contractual obligation. The Promoter will not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages.
7.MISCELLANEOUS
a. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrants who provides false information, fails to provide information, conspires with others to gain an unfair advantage or is otherwise involved in any conduct that involves manipulating, interfering or tampering with the Competition or otherwise preventing the conduct of the Competition Throughout as intended by the Promoter.
b. Any personal property rights in entries are owned by the Promoter. Details from entries will be collected and used for the purpose of conducting the Competition (which may include disclosure to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers for the purpose of processing and conducting the Competition) and for promotional purposes surrounding the Competition. By entering the Competition entrants consent to the use of their information by the Promoter for the purpose of processing and conducting the Competition may use this information or disclose it to the Judge for the purposes of identifying the Winner and on Buy From The Bush’s social media channels for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment to the entrant. The Promoter will keep this information for a reasonable period of time after the end date of the Competition. If the Promoter does not collect your information, you may not be able to participate in the Competition. This notice should be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy that contains information about how we handle your personal information (including personal information collected via our website) and sets your rights in relation to your personal information (including how to withdraw your consent at any time). You can also contact us by sending an email to help@buyfromthebush.com.au if you have any questions about your personal information.
c. The details contained in your entry are protected by security safeguards as detailed in the Promoter's Privacy Policy, which is available at www.buyfromthebush.com.au. Personal information will only be used in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. The Promoter will also endeavour to provide you with an option to opt out of receipt of such communications. You should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter.
