In summer, grab a book and laze about on the balcony or the sun drenched lounge room and cook up a bbq for dinner. Surrounded by spectacular landscapes with a short drive from Kosciuszko National Park, Eliza Lee One is seeking to re-imagine the luxury mountain escape.

The owner’s favourite thing to do at the property

To sit outside first thing in the morning with a cup of coffee on the balcony and watch the world go by. In winter, we love to have the wood fire on relaxing with a glass of local wine and watching netflix after having a long bath with heated floors. In summer we love nothing more than having a BBQ on the balcony and watching the boats out on the lake.

The owner’s favourite day trip nearby

One of the many hikes available in the Kosciuszko National Park. Our favourite would be hiking Mt. Kosciuszko. There is nothing like conquering Australia's highest mountain. The walk begins after catching the scenic Kosciuszko Express chairlift at Thredbo.

You travel past the rocky granite outcrops of Ramshead Range, and through alpine wildflowers with plenty of time to stop at the lookout for views of the country's highest mountain.

The track crosses the headwaters of the Snowy River, before climbing above Lake Cootapatamba and on to Rawson Pass. From here, it’s a gradual climb to the summit of Mount Kosciuszko sitting at 2228m. The walk is a 13km round trip.

Guests should not forget to pack their

Camera, snow gear, mountain bike, hiking shoes, and a warm jacket!
