Nashdale Lane Glamping (Orange, NSW)
Location: Orange, NSW
Sleeps: 2 glamping cabins ‘Kalmte’ & ‘Rustig’ sleeping 2 guests each
Nashdale Lane Glamping is a unique, couples-only, luxe Glamping retreat on a 60 acre, working vineyard just under 10 mins from the vibrant town centre of Orange NSW - tucked away in the sleepy country town of Nashdale.
Taking in spectacular country views, the fully, self-accommodating property is ideal for wine lovers wanting an immersive wine stay on a vineyard (a short stroll from Nashdale Lane Wines award-winning cellar door). It is also an ideal getaway for guests wanting a bit of adventure - without forgoing home comforts like private, monsoon shower & bathroom, wood fire, cosy kitchenette, four poster Queen bed and private deck/BBQ.
At its core it is about connecting with nature, enjoying the fresh, country air & spectacular views from a private space like no other (max 4 guests at any given time).
About your local community:
Orange is stunning regional area with four distinct seasons. Renowned as premium cool climate wine country with countless vineyards, cellar doors as well as a great restaurant & cafe scene.
Food and wine are the stars of the show and the region is full to the brim with wonderful local producers and excellent farmgates. Fantastic recreational options like bush walking/running paths, mountain bike tracks, pristine landmarks such as waterfalls, pine forests, Lake Canobolas as well as boutique shopping, great local art scene and endless, scenic country drives.
As the owner, what is your favourite thing to do at this property:
Very little and that’s the joy of it! Just disconnect, kick back with a glass of vino (from the vines surrounding the cabins) crank up the wood fire and take in the fresh mountain air.
On a perfect, clear night I love to look up at the Milky Way (no matter how many times I see it, it’s always epic here!)
What is your favourite trip close by:
Glenwood State Forest is just 5 minutes by car and is a stunning pine forest with a wonderful, dedicated mountain bike track for anyone wishing to get the heart pumping. This is also the place for guests wanting a stroll in a tranquil, natural environment to collect a few fallen pine cones (these make the best ever kindling and smell amazing!!).
Guests should not forget to pack their…. Layers! Once the sun goes down you will experience fresh mountain air which that get chilly and we also get lots of glorious, sunny milder days too. It’s best to come prepared for all seasons (which you will see distinctly in the surrounds and get to enjoy!).
How did you come to offer regional accommodation?
We always wanted to share our vineyard with guests that (like us) have a passion for wine but we really wanted to do so in a sustainable and unique way.
Glamping treads very lightly on our property and fits in with the local landscape and it tends to attract thoughtful travellers that want a different experience. As a carbon neutral travel solution it also connects guests directly with the vineyard and nature which is important.
We’ve been so lucky to host so many wonderful guests over the years, and look forward to welcoming many more!
