The Property:
Weemala Cottage is located 5km from the town of Dungog, in the Hunter Valley region of NSW and is situated on the popular "Fosterton Loop", This loop is an easy 24km country road, very popular with walkers, cyclists & runners. The cottage is situated on a working beef & avocado farm. Our beautiful Angus & Wagyu cattle can usually be seen grazing around the paddocks in front of the cottage. Often you will see young calves running around the paddocks, enjoying their surrounds.

Dungog is a beautiful historic towny, situated on the banks of the Williams River, near the spectacular Barrington Tops National Park. It is about a 1-hour drive from Newcastle & 2 hours from Sydney (Hornsby). Dungog is a thriving community offering fresh & delicious food, interesting local shops, and the renowned mountain bike recreational park, on the Dungog Common Reserve.

Light the fire pit and relax with a sundowner & watch the cattle and sun sets.

How did you come to offer accommodation in the bush?
We absolutely loved living in this cottage while we were building a larger family home on our beef & avocado farm here at Fosterton (Dungog), in the Hunter Valley NSW. The views & sunsets are just breathtaking, and being so close to the cattle in the paddocks is a delight. We knew we had to share this gorgeous cottage with people seeking to unwind and relax in a beautiful rural environment.
