Megalong Valley is a small rural community within the Blue Mountains. Make your way down the winding Valley road under a canopy of eucalyptus, passing through temperate rain forest. Once on the Valley floor, enjoy views of verdant pastures surrounded by the stunning escarpment. Enjoy the country atmosphere only 2 hours from Sydney and less than 7kms from Blackheath’s cafe’s and restaurants.
What is your favourite thing to do at the property?
Relax on the deck or by the fire with a good book, a glass of local wine in hand and soak up the magnificent views.
What are your favourite trips close by?
Foy’s Folly is a short drive to Megalong Valley’s two fabulous wineries and a short stroll to the Megalong Tea Rooms. If you enjoy a hike, the six foot track is just down the Valley and the Coachwood Glen walk is a must.
A long lunch at the Valley’s award winning paddock to plate restaurant “Megalong Lot 101” is an absolute treat. Foy’s Folly is a perfect base from which to explore the Megalong Valley and the surrounding Blue Mountains and towns.
