Australia’s first inland city, Goulburn, is an easy 5 minute drive away, and many quaint towns and villages within half hour.

Goulburn was proclaimed as Australia’s first inland city by Queen Victoria in 1863. So much history abounds alongside the towns and villages surrounding ready for you to explore.

What is your favourite thing to do at this property:

We love to throw the picnic rug on the lawn and chill out with good company admiring the distant views but also the beauty of the homestead. Or pottering around the garden with a cuppa.

What is your favourite trip close by:

Spend a lazy afternoon at kingsdale wines ( opposite Kingsdale 1882 ) sampling various wines with a cheese platter.

Argyle Inn, Taralga offers delicious lunch or dinner, and is an easy half hour drive.

Take a leisurely walk or cycle along the Wollondilly River seeing some pretty countryside vistas and bird life.

Fresh water fishing in Pejar Dam.

How did you come to offer accommodation in the bush?

Back in the early 1990’s my now husband and I drove past on the way out west and instantly fell in love. Fast forward some thirty years later and we have been lucky enough to to turn our dream into a reality.
